A Salmonella Story

I saw a fish at the supermarket
I like the tuna, so I bought it
I cut up all nice and juicy
I ate and called it "sushi"

Feel the pain inside
Something was alive
Something has survived

Then it exploded out the mouth
On the big white phone I called ralph
Staggered around in searing pain
'Til it began to infect my brain
Fell on my knees and started praying
Stayed on my knees and kept on praying

Feeling kinda sick
Wonder what it is
Could've been the fish
Something is amiss

Then in my depleted health
I knocked a book down off the shelf
Read that some diseases kill
Frantically, I took some pills
But, my condition grew much worse
Called up the doctor and the nurse

They said that I was a dope
And there wasn't any hope
As I prepare for the end
Listen to these words, my friend
Careful when you purchase meat
And don't eat it raw like the Japanese
